TheMisr then got into the Indian Ocean and sailed down the African coast.I have to admit here that during the first two days at sea, we was cursed with seasickness, but proceeding that we were all right.The days were awesome hot, and we children spent most of the daytime playing in the makeshift canvas pools, although back then none of us could swim.The nights were sexy as well, and it was impossible to settle the bunks.So we one slept on deck, or below on the the top holds, were there was cooled food stored.I do not know if anyone can recollect as follows incident.One day my sister and i, saw a woman passenger who was reclining in a wooden deckchair in the colour tone.She tried to rearrange the positioning of the deckchair while she was still sitting on it.Her finger got from the crosses of the deckchair, which acted like a cutter or scissers.The deckchair flattened with her weight, and i saw her screaming and supporting her hand, while her finger was lying on when.She was taken to the ship's doctor specifically.I later saw her again with a wrapped hand, minus a children's kids hand.That we visit mombasa in kenya.This was out of our way to down under, but i feel like the port of call, were to offload some cargo, and maybe load more conditions or new cargo, introducing possibly, new voyagers. We have now had to cross the indian ocean, as well as being noted for storms, very bad climatic conditions and rough seas.As stated the misr was not a substantial ship.Once we hit outside seas, she begun to roll heavily.I remember being on deck with my sister edmund, in some very bad temperatures.The ship was reeling back and forth, so that you can us, the waves seemed all the way to mountains.It's no exaggeration, because from those times, going clearly, that we had to find information about at the waves and not down.We were so afraid at the sight that we went below deck.We saw hundreds of plates falling down with the cooking and ending smashed up on the deck floor.A lot of the passengers were vomiting everywhere, and they were either sitting yourself down or lying down.Only one or two could stand and walk, and, in a kind of drunken manner, swaying from one side completely to a different one.What really stuck in my mind was looking out of a porthole that overlooked the forward organ of the ship.The bow would dip in the birthday sea, until it was completely taught in waves.I would count the a few no time to see when, and how long it is take to lift.I sometimes thought that the bow would struggle to come up again.This experience made me terrified of the sea for quite some time to come.However we did have pleasant days as well.When the elements was nice, and the ocean calm, we played throughout the ship.We spent hours simply exploring the sea, specially when we saw whales, sharks and whales.Sharks had a habit of following on from the ship, to scavenge the food that was left over and thrown too far.Disembarkation took two days to perform, simply because immigrants were checked one by one.I had not witnessed a train before, not to mention ride one, so we were all probably attracted.There was not much to see in darkness, so we children probably fallen asleep.What i do remember clearly is that in the the night, we had to vary trains.We got off the first train at the train stop of some town or another, and even while mum, the luggage and us children were left waiting on the station program, dad went to discover which was the other train that we had to board to continue our journey.Dad came back over time, although he took mum, edmund and thus robert, plus some luggage to our pocket on the new train, he told me to wait a little for him, with the luggage and not to move.Going having worn a long blue coat, and sitting on other luggage waiting for dad.The station was not so vibrantly lit, and i could just make out people rushing from one place to a different, from one train even to a new one, and shadows in every state.I must say that i was a bit terrified of being left there all alone in an unfamiliar place.After what turned out a lone time, dad delivered, picked up all of those other luggage and we both boarded the second train, and joined though others.We arrived at sydney in the morning, wednesday the 23rd april at noon.
